'Heart Of Gold'

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Wow, so, I just ventured outside of Buffistas and saw some of the SMG hate from people online. All of which seems to be people who weren't actually at the panel.

It's crazy. It's like everybody online is British. We have this thing here where we like to build people up, and then burn them at the stake when they become successful.

every generation throws a hero up the pop charts.

I love Douglas Adams' Long Dark Teatime for the Soul for skewering this very thing.

Oh yeah, the Yanks are champs at the pedestal knocking off.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

The Pruitt dude is/was insane.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

The Pruitt dude is/was insane.

He sure was. But also the best fight choreographer working on TV. The fight scenes went from being exciting and character driven to blah-boring fast forward moments for me. I think his Buffy/Faith fights were the best.

Off topic - does anyone here collect the Buffy cards? K-Bug has a bunch of cards, seasons 4 - 7, in a nice Buffy album that she is willing to part with. She also has other assorted cards that were kept in cases.

She asked me to ask my "Buffy friends".

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

We used to get complete sets from inkworks for auctions. They did pretty well, I'd try eBay.

The sets aren't complete and she wanted to offer them to folks here first.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

That idea just sets my teeth on edge. So much so that I didn't buy the Surfacing fanzines despite the inclusion of stories by three of my favorite fanfic authors.
