In honor of the first day of classes, a classic:
One day the campus is completely bare and empty. The next, there are children everywhere. Like locusts. Crawling around, mindlessly bent on feeding and mating. Destroying everything in sight in their relentless, pointless desire to exist.
I thought that quote came from us.
I thought it was a summary/paraphrase of a real interview, but I could be wrong.
One day the campus is completely bare and empty. The next, there are children everywhere. Like locusts. Crawling around, mindlessly bent on feeding and mating. Destroying everything in sight in their relentless, pointless desire to exist.
And only Lucy Lawless can save us!
If I'm following correctly now, Angel was either brought back by the first evil to kill buffy (or himself), or he was brought back by the magical christmas snow fairies.
Or TBTB/Jasmine.
Though I prefer to think that he wasn't so much "brought back" as "spat out."

That just reminds me of how much I love the Mayor. (Not Mitt Romney; the Mayor Wilkins.)
I know he was evil and all that, but he was fantastic.
S2's emotional arc was more satisfying, but in terms of sheer love, the mayor is my favorite Big Bad ever. I'm really digging watching it with The Boy as he sees it for the first time.
I agree. Mayor+Faith is some awesome big-badness.
Though I also have some serious Glory love, for reasons that escape me. Something about a big bad with a love for shoes. Also, I just liked that she was more batshit insane than calculated evil.
