Has the accent improved any?
Not one teeny tiny bit.
t edit The Snow Of Redemption, however, bugs me way less than it used to. I don't know why. Possibly because I was sitting next to The Boy, who found it utterly perfect.
Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

Aw, that's the episode where the Scoobies want Xander to die! Johanna still gets mad about that.

Damn, it's been a while since I've seen that episode because I don't remember THAT at all.
Well, 'cause he explains that he's going to camp on the lawn on Xmas Eve to avoid his horrible family. And they're like, "That's nice," instead of, "Come hang with us instead of sleeping outside in a town full of vampires." So, obviously, they want him to die.
Johanna was very good at forming theories about Xander.
Awww, I love Amends so very much. The snow never really twigged me, but probably because by then I was crying because SMG broke my heart.
In Amends, I always feel sorry that Xander's comic books got damaged by the snow.

Ha! During that scene, I yelled, "Xander, protect your comics!!!"
The Boy, of course, yelled, "Protect the Christmas cookies!!!"
Mrs. W and I are up to Lover's Walk on our Buffy re-watch. Although I've seen reruns here and there, this is really the first time I'm watching every episode since original airing. When they bring the pain now, I know it's coming, and it hurts so good.
Wallybee and I have just reached Season 4, and Angel Season 1. I'm really rather looking forward to watching Angel with her. She still finds Cordy funny. ("Hey, you're a vampire!" "...No I'm not.") I haven't the heart to tell her what happens to her.
I watched "Buffy vs. Dracula" and "Real Me" last night.
Somehow, I never noticed that Dracula says the same thing (or something very similar?) to Buffy that Tara/the messenger said in Restless. The "You think you know... what's to come..." bit. It was at least very similar.
I wish that they had played Dracula up a bit more. I liked that he brought out some of Buffy's scary inner-slayer, the stuff she tackled in the ends of Season Four and Five with all the first-slayer stuff. I wish they had been willing to increase that, decrease the camp some.
Also, I really REALLY wish that it wasn't the first episode I ever watched. Because seriously? The HSQ of the end was so lost on me, and I'll never get it now.
