was kinda-sorta crazyKinda sorta? She was completely 'round the bend, which is what I loved best.
River ,'War Stories'
Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

Oh yeah. She was the crazy Victorian version of the little girl in the White Room. I adored Dru.
Sean's gonna hate me. Why?
I HATED Drusilla. She annoyed the ever-loving crap out of me.
Please. You'll have to try a lot harder than that.
It might have been the actress.
NOOOO!!!! Juliet's a sweetheart, and plenty talented.
Yeah, Dru bugged the crap out of me too. I think it was mostly the awful accent. I found her to be more entertaining in subsequent guest appearances, like Crush ("Boo Boo?") and with Spike in Italy.
I HATED Drusilla. She annoyed the ever-loving crap out of me. If I could have, I would have made a stake with Miss Edith's head on it and Mr. Pointey'd her.
I don't understand these words in this order.
One of my favorite quotes came up today, and I felt the need to repost it --
Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.'Inside Out'
It's the brunch part that really gets me. I don't know why.
That's one of my favorites too, Vortex.
I was just thinking "Gunn using the word brunch. Huh."

Me too. Doesn't do much for his street cred, does it?
that's what I love about it. Clearly, he's thinking most dangerous (dukin' out with the Legion of Doom) to least dangerous (crossing the street deciding where to have brunch). I love that the most innocuous thing he could come up with was brunch.
