Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Conversely, I thought "Heartthrob" was the best season opener of the series' entire run, loved "That Vision Thing" and "Carpe Noctem," and didn't really think the suck set in until "Fredless" (hated the ep despite loving the Burkles).

I'd put "Heartthrob" second, after "Deep Down." I didn't like it at the time, though.

But a lot of S3 episodes are horrible. Absolutely horrible. I don't know if I'd say that even half of them could be described as "good." It is my favorite season because of the arc, which is like an awesome demolition derby. I'd never claim it was the best season.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

"Heartthrob" was actually the reason I found TWoP. I don't think I actually saw it until I bought the DVDs.

What is even happening?

Just to remind people, there is Buffy discussion in our "Other Media" thread (formerly known as Jossverse in Other Media). Also, I've recapped issue one of the BtVS Season 8 comic, in my LJ. [link] Warning. It contains full comic spoilers for the current issue.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Phases!

Erm, sumi, you're going to post again between, say, 6:30 and 6:45, yes? Because, yeah, that forgetful...

Huh. I need a Comma Abusers Anon meeting.

We, refuse, to be, closeted, except for when, that guy, who uses us for ellipsis, is around, then, we lock ourselves, in.

So the commas like my abuse?

Masochists. I like that in punctuation.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Eeeeeeeeeeeee! My comic book boyfriend snagged me a copy of Buffy! We loves him! May he find a non-taken, cute, geeky girl to make him happy forever!
