Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

This is such a perfect episode. There's a high density of very fine lines in the part with dialogue, on top of everything else.

I agree!

Here's a screen cap of where I am. [link] I did not make it - I am not that big of an egomaniac.

...

Ok, yeah I am, but I don't know how to make screencaps.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I always want to see "Doppelgängland" after "The Wish."

Yeah, leaving some episodes out kinda sucks, but I know from doing the LOTR marathons that there is definitely a limit to hohw much I can watch in one day of even something I love. I was already not watching Surprise or Innocence because watching one without the other is unthinkable, just for one example.

Shoot, I was looking for you in the right scene but a little late. I will go back and look again as soon as I get to the end (Tara's in jeopardy. I was so afraid for her when this first aired, the new appealing character getting killed before we ever get to know her seemed all too plausible).

Ahhhhhhhh, that was good.

And there's Aimee! I need a bigger screen with HD so I can see you better.

Because books.

Happy Birthday, Buffy!

I had no idea you were in Hush, Aims. How very cool! And before you were a fan, too!

I started watching sometime in S3, and liked it very much, since I had seen the movie (okay, because of Luke Perry -- and thought the movie was a cute premise done badly) and the show was so much smarter and funnier and sharper. And then I caught Becoming in reruns and was absolutely hooked for life.

Man, I miss my show. I miss the routine of Tuesday night in my house -- "Buffy's coming on! Everybody out! Mommy has to watch her show!"

The night of the series finale I was kind of sick with excitement and dread, and made myself sicker eating nachos that had gotten cold, and I kept having to run outside to smoke cigarettes during the commercials... Good times.

Mmmmm, too engrossed in Restless to comment.

And now, Once More With Feeling

BTW, I finally decided not to try to rehabilitate my messed up DVDs and picked up the Chosen Collection and this is the first time I've watched anything from it, or even opened it, oddly enough. I love the packaging. It's just very cool.
