I like the idea. Saturdays are hard, though.
Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!
Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.
ditto to all. Idea good, Saturday bad.
Principle Hottie!!
D.B. Woodside (24, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) has been added to CBS' "Viva Laughlin!" which centers on a man (Lloyd Owen) who dreams of opening a casino in Laughlin, Nev. Woodside will play his accountant and business manager.
Ah, a comedy! As anyone who's been to Laughlin will certainly know.
Huh. I suppose that President Wayne Palmer is not long for the world.
Not likely to be President for too much longer, anyway.
I am intrigued by the idea of Accountant Hottie, though I always get Laughlin confused with Elko.
though I always get Laughlin confused with Elko.
You can be forgiven for that easily. Forgettable Nevada desert towns that are close enough to Utah population centers to make gambling a viable industry.
Since March 10th is the 10 anniversary of Buffy's debut, I'm wondering if we should have a special watch & post. Maybe of Hush or something. It could be our own little Buffista celebration.
Whether we can do this or not, I think I will spend a substantial portion of tomorrow watching a Buffy marathon. If anyone wants to co-ordinate for watching and posting, I am game. If it ends up just being me, though, I will post as I go, because that's how I roll.
I don't think it's been mentioned here. According to the new issue of The Sondheim Review (Spring 2007) ASH will be in Tim Burton's Sweeney Todd adapation as a member of the "Ensemble". I know Sondheim's already a big favorite in these parts, and now we have some extra incentive to see the movie.
As my Buffy commemorative event, I just watched the first disc of S5.
"No more butt-monkey!"
I never cared for Dawn, but this season has got some golden moments.
Sigh. I miss being this engaged by teevee.
