Scott and I re-watched the whole series, except for the second half of seaseon 7, last summer (well, the summer of 2005). I found it all did well in rewatch. I don't know if we had BtVS fatigue by the middle of season 7, or just season 7 fatigue.
I remember having conversations while season 6 was still fresh (maybe here) about how the big rerun breaks between new episodes hurt the whole viewing experience.
If you're reading a story and something happens in a chapter that leaves you sort of ho hum (or downright angry or disappointed), but you love the book overall, and you don't take off six weeks before moving onto the next chapter, and you don't keep dwelling on it. You read on, get back into it, and you're good You're not chewing over the less-than-satisfactory bits for weeks on end, before you get more of the story.
Season 6 is one of my favorites. Season 5 is also one of my favorites. I also really like 4. And 3. And it's hard to argue with Season 2 considering my Drusilla love. And then Season 1 is really fun, what with the witch and the hyenas and the Prophecy Girl. Oh, and the first 10 episodes of season 7 are great. And so are the last 3. And the middle 9 are pretty fun, too, with the aid of some well-placed fast forwarding anyway.
I can take or leave the rest, though.

So, you're saying all the episodes that Tim wrote, right?
Yeah, that Tim Miner guy wrote total crap on Buffy.
10th Anniversary of Buffy? Wow. I wasn't even thinking that.
The reading and the viewing both sound like fun -- wish I could be there!
Meanwhile: tonight in 17 minutes - "Surprise" - okay?
Dammit! I wish I had remembered the w&p was tonight in time to have already picked up dinner by now.
Join late.
Man, why do I always forget the creepy prophetic dreams. (And could Dru
send
dreams to people?)
Oh that portentious Southern California rain!
Didn't get home till 8. Rats.
Maybe next week.
(And could Dru send dreams to people?)
We've never seen any evidence of such. But she mentioned dreaming that Buffy would come to her party, so it's possible that she was sharing Buffy's prophetic dream the way Buffy shared one of Angel's in "Amends."
