Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

"Next time you should probably say, "shrug.""

The writing? Still amuses.

Ewww, with the arms coming off.

Poor thoughtful Xander. The whole "I have the worst taste in women" thing doesn't really wear off until Anya. Wait. Except for Cordelia, does he date anyone else?

It's been so long.

Oh, Xander will just always go after the somehow demon-y women. Or them, him. Either way, he's probably going to want to stay in touch with Slayers. Just in case.

Sigh... There was more bittersweet in that ep than I recalled.

Well, there was that woman in season 7. . . but really it was Cordy and then Anya.

I just remembered it as way more MoW than character-y and arc-y and just overall show-y. And yet? Nope, it was the other stuff as well. Lots.

I like that in a show.

The one who wanted to ritually sacrifice him? I didn't see her as a bastion of normalcy.

Cass -- it's true. And it's just a really solid episode too. Season 2 continues to impress.
