Yeah, the mirror! I loved that.
I think that was one of the things I loved best, early on. Buffy wasn't supposed to be an academic star, but it was always clear she was smart. Not only in something like thinking to use a mirror in that fight, but in figuring out the heart of a situation. Like when she says to Giles's comment about someone not liking cheerleading, "Or likes it too much." Smart.
and she thinks so quickly - anyone could have grabbed something to put out amber's hands - but Buffy though of it quickly
"What curse will she put on Buffy? No ears?"
No body fat, if later seasons are anything to go by.
"It's my first casting".
Fibber!!! No one ever called him on that, did they?
Topic!Cindy - I know not this LJ of which you speak. But tell amberlynne "Happy Birthday" for me!

Nope.

No, but I can't wait to see a reprise of the outrage when people catch up to Xander's Lie That Wouldn't Die.
Thessaly and I are watching through, and did "Becoming" the other night. Thessaly took to shouting "SMITE HIM! SMITE HIM!" at Xander on the screen.

Obfuscatress. clarrie made one for you, and you know it. [link]
Xander's Lie That Wouldn't Die.
Xander lies. Xander lies. Xander lies....when he cries.
Frank, don't make me laugh tea out my nose. Esp. as it's mixed with OJ, and would hurt.

Poor Xander!
Does the eventual eye loss make her feel better?
What Xander did was really and truly wrong,
and
I love him for it.
He did it with perfect motives--a mix of jealousy (of B/A), anger (Ms. Calendar's death and all the Angelusy horror between Surprise and Becoming, the first part of which saw Kendra die trying to defend them all), fear (ditto), and love (seeing Willow so injured). It was also true to his first mission statement in TH:
I don't like vampires. I'm gonna take a stand and say they're not good.
It was the Xanderest thing ever (except for maybe the Love Spell combined with the refusing to take advantage of it in BB&B).
