Xander: How? What? How? Giles: Three excellent questions.

Xander/Giles ,'Never Leave Me'

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I saw the movie and liked it, and tuned in to the premiere of the series to see if it would be as good. By the end of the show my jaw was hanging open. I turned to my boyfriend and said, "I've been waiting my whole life for this show!" He agreed. I've loved it all the way through, even when I didn't like it much.

The evil is this way?

I saw watched "Buffy" from the beginning. I remembered SMG from "All My Children" and thought I'd give the show a try. I was hooked. (Came for the soap star, stayed for the writing. And the acting. And the fights. But not for the snakes.) Did not discover the on-line community until the 2-3 seasons, which added to my enjoyment of the show.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I saw watched "Buffy" from the beginning. I remembered SMG from "All My Children" and thought I'd give the show a try.

I remember thinking, "That's Kendall from AMC. She looks awful as a blonde. I might watch that show. Isn't it based on that movie that Luke Perry was in? I can't stand Luke Perry." So, I never watched it. When it ended up on FX, I watched some of season 3. As soon as I her, "she makes Godot seem prompt", I was completely hooked. I started watching it morning and night. Found out I was working with a bunch of people (including Victor) that could fill me in on everything I needed to know. Then Victor suggested I check out this website.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I remembered SMG from "All My Children"

That was part of the draw for me, too. She was excellently bitchy as mini-Erika Kane.

Because books.

I know I didn't watch until sometime in S3. Possibly late S2. God, that's sad -- since then I've watched every episode so often, I don't remember what my very first ever episode was.

I knew things about the show from friends, and cultural osmosis, too, like the stuff about Buffy having to "kill" Angel (so I guess it was S3). I was hooked from the first episode I watched all the way through -- I was amazed at the writing. It was so smart and sly compared to everything else on TV, and I fell in love with SMG as Buffy, and ASH as Giles.

She really was. They re-ran one of those eps a year or so ago. SMG could really pour it on. She benefits from good writing. I wish she'd get some good material. I'd like to see her in something good.
