Tara: Do you have any books on robots? Giles: Oh, yes, dozens. There's a lot of research to be done in order to--no, I'm lying. Haven't got squat. I just like watching Xander squirm.

'Get It Done'

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

"...and then Legolas and the Hulk destroy the entire Greek army." - Penny Arcade

Buffy and Joyce - funny and painful at the same time.

Because books.

I love how Joyce is so not understanding in such an understandable way.

Exactly!

Earthquake that swallowed half the town--Chosen.

Oh, good point.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I was waiting for you to get to the weapons trunk. I noticed the big bag of communion wafers for possibly the first time tonight. I think they're the only thing in there that was never used.

So what's Dawn doing while they're arguing like this?

I think about this all the time when watching the older episodes. My guess is she is in her room sulking about how she had to leave all her friends and her school behind.

brillig

So what's Dawn doing while they're arguing like this?

Sulking in her room writing "I hate Buffy" in her diary.

edit: cross-post sulking!

Because books.

I love the uber-dramatic music and the lighting on the Master as Luke drains the first victim! Perfect cheese.

Luke is so gleeful and amused.

Buffy dictating the plan already.

Giles gives the party line....

Poor Jesse. Still a schmoe, even as a vamp.
