Gris, why did they show that scene at a Veronica Mars [thing]?
It was an event at the American TV Institute or... something. Some great TV place. And they apparently start all events with a clip from something in their archives, and that introductory scene, I guess, fit the profile for the Veronica Mars event. I saw a season 1 episode early (4 weeks into a 6 week hiatus) at that event! The one with the parrot! It was awesome!
What's the favorite line, Gris?
"When I'm with a boy a like, it's hard for me to anything cool, or witty, or at all. Usually I just make a few vowel sounds, and then I have to go away."
At my performing arts school PD, one of our ice breakers was acting out a line from our favorite movie or TV show, and I did that one. I'm not as pretty as her, though. The only non-Buffy line that I like nearly as much comes from High Fidelty, during the bit where Rob is talking to Laura about
getting married, and is all, "I'm tired of the fantasy. And I'm tired of everything else for that matter. But I never seem to get tired of you."
LOVE.
Narrator, I already mentioned this in Natter, but because you were here, I'll repeat. Today, my spam filters caught an e-mail from "doesnt exist." and the email was trying to get my money. It made me miss you.
Well, you should send me all your money. Can't blame me for reminding you.
If anybody wants to do the W&P on a night other than Tuesday let me know now. I heard a vote
against
Weds. Is Monday better? or Thursday?
I like Monday, but that's in theory. I'm never on that time of night, unless Scott's working on something at home, or whatever.

I have no money, so mission accomplished.
Monday is no good for me.
I like Monday, myself. If we have to do Tuesday, I just looked at the EW fall TV preview, and the Tuesday lineup is less conflicty for me than I thought. So Monday or Tuesday would be good. Wednesday and Thursday would really stink, and possibly Sunday as well.
Either way, what's the general verdict on the first W&P? Success? It seemed so to me. Okay, it's not quite as huge as the original run was, but people seemed to participate and enjoy the idea.

That was my take. It was fun and it was nice to touch base with our uh...core values. Cindy's overnight gave it some good depth, and once Ple jumps on to play we'll get some more spicy bits.
I'll keep it up for a while.
Right now I'm inclined to keep it on Tuesday until I get a strong preference for another night. And I'm totally willing to move to another night if that facilitates conversation, but I haven't seen anything like a bullshit consensus yet.
Well mondays are impossibe for me , however, If I can't watch and post I can read and watch and post - I just have to remember to post
Welcome to the Hellmouth. - It is up there with one of my most watched episodes- so I tried to watch with new eys, btu all I could really think is...
when I first watched it - so did both of my sisters - we all caught the bug. DHs were quick to follow, ditto mom, but not dad.
Dvd were not around
the idea of watching on my little baby DVD player while sitting in bed still feels like magic
and I did not know fernet
I also moved to CA durring the second season of Buffy- and buffy was one of my anchors - and this was before the buffistas.
Plus, Luke was one of my favorite villians - I tend to forget how small his time on screen was. I think it was because he seem to enjoy his job so much . A really good villian should enjoy his work .
Luke is up there with Sunday on the list of underappreciated vamp villains.
Eh, I thought he was horribly overacted and overdramatic. Thompson did much better as the Judge.
