Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

Hey. New board.

Woo! Darla is such an ugly vampire-face in the pilot.

"...and then Legolas and the Hulk destroy the entire Greek army." - Penny Arcade

Huh. It looks kind of creepy-sexual but he's baring her neck.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

"You look like DeBarge!" Ha!

Hey. New board.

GOD, I hate Luke. His death is one of my favorite moment in season one, because I HATES HIM.

Hey. New board.

Also, worst last line in a weird supernatural bible passage ever. "Hell itself will come to town." Wha?

You know, I don't think Darla's ever shown as a strong physical fighter. And we see how Buffy's strength seems to vary depending on plot needs.

Hey! In a coffin for the first time.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I'm getting distracted, now, trying to place which death was Nicky Katt's in Sin City.

The skinhead who gets the arrow through him (well, two eventually).

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

It's so very much more horror movie-esque here.

Luke had presence. He was formidible.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I was just thinking, later Buffy wold have kicked Luke's behind without breaking a sweat. I think it's just that she got more confident and experienced as time went on.

Also, there was that time she died and came back stronger. The first time.

Oh, crap, I forgot it ended THERE.

I won't be around to do this next week! Maybe I should watch the second part now.
