Willow says she can't talk much around a guy she likes, but she seems pretty articulate around Xander.

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!
Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.
Our first catwalk scene.

Buffy's already burdened by the responsibility from the get-go.
I guess they had to drop the bit about her being able to sense vampires, or else Angel wouldn't have been able to fool her.
That's my guess. In many ways though, the Master arc of Season 1 is essentially the same arc as the movie.
Really pushing the "protesting too much" thing with Buffy about Angel.
Heh. "You're like a textbook with arms."
That's not even in the top three hundred lines of the show (or this season), but it's still pretty good. So many excellent throwaways.

"Excuse me. I have to call everyone I have ever met, right now."
Best! Death! Evar!
It's currently tied with Nicky Katt's in SIN CITY for me. Oh, and Jared Leto's in AMERICAN PSYCHO, but that's almost all Christian Bale, though Leto's drunken befuddlement is amusing.
I keep rolling my eyes at what Buffy and Cordelia wear. For girls who are supposed to be very trend-conscious, they keep looking borderline frumpy.
Carbon-dated. Still a great line.
