They're doing it backwards; walking up the down slide.

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

I can't even.

Nice resonances with Dune -- the Sleeper has awakened!

On a shallow note, I think SMG is more appealing rounder, and not so hollywood-lean.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I miss 1st season Angel too.

Hey. New board.

I LOVE the original movie script. Parts of the execution suck, but I still greatly like the movie for silliness reasons.

Plus, the Origin comic rocks.

Woo Bronze! Yay Willow! Here comes my favorite line seriously EVER. It's on my facebook profile. I love dorky Willow.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Season 1 is really Joss trying to do the movie over again, but better this time, isn't it?

And without the menstrual cramps. And with better vampire dustage (though it makes Paul Reuben's death in the movie pretty much impossible to duplicate).

"...and then Legolas and the Hulk destroy the entire Greek army." - Penny Arcade

Heee. Mission statement scene.

You kind of have to handwave about Angel being defensively snarky to make this fit the later backstory.

Hey. New board.

"Tomorrow you might be dead!"

"Oh, that's nice!"

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I guess they had to drop the bit about her being able to sense vampires, or else Angel wouldn't have been able to fool her.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

"I think boys are more interested in a girl who can talk."

Cordy's right about the softer side of Sears, though.

Hey. New board.

Show's fashions never really improved THAT much...
