It's no euphemism, boyo. We're closer to the earth!

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!
Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.
Aside from the Glory love, this is kind of a cool Amazon list: [link]
I finished my season 6 DVDs tonight. I originally planned on just watching the 5th DVD tonight, but even knowing what happens next "Seeing Red" is no place to stop, so I popped in the last DVD.
I'd forgotten how long the AR scene was and how ridiculously ineffectual Buffy was at fighting Spike off. In my head it was like ten seconds, Spike made it clear he wasn't taking "no" for an answer and Buffy kicked him away. If only. I understand they were trying to impress the gravity of what Spike was trying to do, but watching them both flop around on the floor like beached fish while Buffy screams doesn't remotely cut it.
That scene aside, "Wrecked" is the only episode from the season I disliked on re-watch, though parts of "Hell's Bells" were cringe-worthy.
I have feeling that Season 7 isn't going to hold up as well.
An interview with JM - how cool is it that he's getting to do Macbeth in London?
Hot.
Great to see that being able to walk capably in stiletto heels and fishnets is a skill that he'll have use for throughout his career!
I can't get to Sumi's link, even C&Ping the URL. Is there a login required?
No -- let me c&P:
The insider guide to forthcoming attractions, by Nicola Christie
Anthony Head can currently be seen alongside Richard E Grant in London's West End, playing a gloriously drunk journalist in Simon Gray's Otherwise Engaged. And the two look set to collaborate again, in a film that Grant has written - based on his 1998 comic novel By Design - in which Head will play a transvestite.
"The story is really about what goes on in the making of a movie, as opposed to the PR version," says Grant.
"I need an interior designer and a masseuse, but I would really like to direct Tony as a transvestite, so I'm trying to work in a character." Supposing he does, would Head be game to get in touch with his feminine side? "Absolutely," he says. "I really love Richard. It would be great to be directed by him. And I have good legs."
Thanks Sumi!
