Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Never Kill a Boy on the First Date was on today. I miss the show that was so good that I stayed and watched even though I don't really care about the episode.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I saw NKABOTFD yesterday afternoon. Fun-nee. I esepcially like the part where Xander surreptitiously checks out his Tweety Bird watch after Owen loans Buff his antique looking pocket watch.

Nice start to Giles and Buffy bonding, too.

so cute!

They're all so young.

But nothing horrified me as much as Cordelia's crimped hair.

Because books.

I saw NKABOTFD yesterday, too, and I was thinking how...puffy Buffy's hair was. It seemed much thicker then. I know they had curled it at the end, but compared to her S3 hair, it seemed to have four times the volume. Not necessarily in a good way.

t /shallow about hair

See, I was looking at her short skirt. Or, more accurately, her legs.

Because books.

Which were damn cute, even if that green dress was a horror.

What is even happening?

A lot of Band Candy is watch-from-the-hall for me, especially Snyder.

We watched Harsh Light of Day, or whatever that Parker Poophead episode is. I'd forgotten how much of it gave me the watch from the hall feeling. It's a testament to the writers and SMG for creating a character I can feel so protective about, even years later, when the show ended with far less vulnerable where boys were concerned.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Oddly enough, Andi and I watched the DVD of NKABOAFD last night.

weird coincidence.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I watched "Never Kill a Boy on the First Date". I wish there had been some indication of what happened to Owen after that episode. It would have been cool to see him on "Graduation Day".
