'Serenity'

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Oh, that means it's Jennifer Garner, for sure!

(Don't THROW things at me!)

Who? moi??

Wonder Woman should have a dancer's body. Morena doesn't, Gina Torres does.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I really can't think of anybody that has Gina's combination of build, sheer prettiness, presence, proven action ability, acting chops and warmth. Also she's got good hair.

I'm wondering if they could just hang a lampshade on the divergence from expected race.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Unfortunately, we've now got CATWOMAN (and Halle) to thank for another reason they might fling out there for not casting color-blind. And there was more precedent in that case.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Oh, that means it's Jennifer Garner, for sure!

Only if they make her gain about 30 pounds.....

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

But Halle (unlike Eartha, I think) didn't play an existing character.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Oh, that means it's Jennifer Garner, for sure!

Or Jennifer Anniston.

Gina Torres isn't particularly dark skinned, she doesn't look as different from the comic book as Hunsou would as Super Man. I bet they could pull it off.

What is even happening?

Heh. Don't know if we make people nervous, but we do occassionally get second looks. Not often, though.
Chi, I am dead of you cute. You two are as cute as you post.

Wonder Woman should have a dancer's body. Morena doesn't, Gina Torres does.

What kind of dancer, marty? I always think of a dancer's body as lithe and not so curvy. I'm all for Gina in the part, by the way. I just don't think of her having a dancer's body.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

He's so pretty.

So very pretty.

So true. So very true.

Ohhhhh, and good morning to you. So pretty.

What kind of dancer, marty? I always think of a dancer's body as lithe and not so curvy.

Obviously, it depends on the type of dance, but even ballet dancers are much more muscled than most Hollywood starlets. They're... sturdier?

But I do associate them with being less buxom than WW. They are not slight, however, in the way that I think of Morena. Gina's got some muscle on her bones.
