Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!
Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.
Are there any good sources for Buffy screencaps left?
Perkins, this site has, for each episode, on top of a transcript and summary and stuff, also "vidcaps".
For "Angel" I always go to The Sanctuary.
Ooh, Thanks Nilly!
Also, Hi Nilly!
(No, Perkins, I'm not here! I'm preparing the lesson for today. Which I should have done yesterday, but grading liquified or ate my brain. Being brainless, it's hard to think or to remember in order to find out what happened to it. Also, makes this whole lesson-preparing an interesting challenge. I'm sure my brain would have appreciated the interest in that challenge, had it been here. Only, well, it's not. Sneaky grading.)
An amusing interview with BC and NB about Kitchen Confidential.
That interview really is interesting.
Brendon: That really is admirable. Because after about Season Five on [Buffy], or the end of Season Four, I was that guy. [Buffy creator] Joss [Whedon] actually said Xander was done--that there was no more. I was just kind of relegated to the background. It was one of those things that, where I was at in my life, the money was more important than my pride or taking care of myself.
I just want to know why they renamed the main character. I mean, his real name is Tony, so why did they make him Jack?

Jack tested better with focus groups.
Really? I don't know. Maybe Anthony Bourdain just didn't want his real name used because it's only "based on" his life. There are probably parallels to this choice.
In the future, every male tv character will be named Jack. We're halfway there already.

What, no Logans?
