Zoe: Don't think it's a good spot, sir. She still has the advantage over us. Mal: Everyone always does. That's what makes us special.

'Serenity'

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Those were really funny. (Funny enough that I'm commenting on how funny they are twice.)

I'm sad that I lost all my action figure action shots in the great hard drive crash of '02, but honestly, none of them were that good.

Too funny. The skull is very fancy. The dancing, well, the dancing is always funny, isn't it?

What is even happening?

Strega, that's too funny to look at, first thing in the morning.

the last one is my favorite, Strega. it actually looks like DB dancing, which may or may not be an insult to DB.
It really does.

What is even happening?

I just read in yesterday's paper that Michelle Branch and her husband Teddy Landau (who is in her band) had their first child recently, a boy girl, and named him her Owen. The paper says she's 22. She's that young?

Oh, just found confirmation on E!online [link]

Around the time Monique started posting the Dawn FAQ

That was back in my fandom youth. When I thought I could make a difference. Ah, memories...

Narrator and Cindy, have you listened to Nick's Audioblogs yet? There are no Speedos, but maybe I could have him work them into future entries.

As for B1 and B2, I was nowhere near the fandom at the time, and worked nights. I really liked the show, which meant I actually taped it and watched it when I got home from work -- other shows, I was just too lazy to go through all the hassle of buying tapes. I remember watching it at about 1:30 a.m., and my mouth just dropping open. Then I hit rewind and watched it all over again, just to make sure I had actually seen what I thought I had just seen. I was completely stunned.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

As funny as the photos were, it was the "Oops! Oh no, my soul!" caption that cracked me up the most.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Me too. Hee!

I'm just now rewatching all of Buffy Season 2, and it's just killing me how young they all are and how bad things are going to get.

I'm listening to the most recent one, now. His voice is very relaxing. It's making me sleepy. It's not, however, completely childsafe, so I'll wait to listen to the first one, 'til Julia's not in the room.

That's what we pictured. I think I would have been stunned by both Surprise/Innocence and Becoming, if I'd seen them when they first aired.

We are, too. We started with season 1. We're just finishing season 2. Oof.

move out and draw fire

When I started watching Buffy, Angel already had his own show and I knew it, but that's all I knew. Silly me, I thought it might be about the preceding ~250 years of his (un)life. So I was pretty freaked with "Becoming/Innocence" and subsequent.

Also, the concept of a season-long Big Bad was new to me.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

I didn't start watching until S3, so, like Cindy, I was ruined for Surprise/Innocence and B1&2, and yet they still make me get all weepy when I watch in rerun.
