Pinky and the Brain/Dangermouse crossover fic
I don't want to overstate things, but this may be the most brilliant idea ever.
Now I'm trying to imagine a mash-up of their theme songs. Yowza.
'Dirty Girls'
Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

Example exchange from my draft, where Penfold and Pinky sit off to the side while DM and Brain have a war of words.
Penfold: "So, what's it like to be the sidkick of evil, then?"
Pinky (Chortles): "Narf! Brain's not evil, he just wants us to take over the world."
Penfold: "Oh, does he now? Cor!"
Penfold (con'd), in re: argument: "Ooh! DM got a good one in there!"
I need to immerse myself in both shows again to get the whole thing "right."
Pinky...shush.
Also, any chance of working Count Duckula in there (DM version, NOT the one from his own series)?
I'll work on it. I need to find a good source of the DM and PatB eps, first.
And, wrong thread. Grrr, arrrgh.

I don't know about PatB, but Danger Mouse came out on DVD recently.
I think mostly for the theme song.
I have it and could put it up at Buffistarawk if you like, Gris. Though the patter songs are better, like Yakko's World (which JZ can sing through the first three verses).
By far the most enthusiastic reaction on Saturday Morning Cartoon day at the LA F2F was for Animaniacs.
It's a great big universe and we're all really puny!
We're just little tiny specks about the size of Mickey Rooney!
I actually already have the song, Hec, but thanks. I also want the DVDs because the show was grrrrrrreat.

We've got a bunch of the VHS tapes. Tiny Toons also. When I showed Emmett Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein he remembered instantly that it had been parodied on Tiny Toons.
My niece introduced me to both Animaniacs and Tiny Toons when she visited way back when she was 14 and it was on the air.
"OkayIloveyoubyebye" quickly entered our vocabulary.
