but I'd either only get to see half a show, or end up running late for work.
yup. I've been late for work more than once waiting for a particular scene or even just for the end of the ep.
Giles ,'Touched'
Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

FX likes to cut stuff out though. that annoyed me. i haven't watched a Buffy or Angel ep in a very long time. too many other things to watch.
still don't have all the box sets either. missing 5, 6, and 7 of Buffy and 3, 4, and 5 of Angel.
Oooh, I have all of Buffy and Angel. However, the complete set sounds awesome. I could give my daughter all my Buffy (she's only got season 1) and get the set for me. Hmmmm. Must think on it.
I've got all of Angel and S1 of Buffy. If I had a spare $200 I'd have that set.
I have all the box sets, and now I'm sad, because that new one has extra commentary, but I can't justify that sort of expense to hear Joss run off at the mouth some more, even though I'd love to hear Joss run off at the mouth some more.
I am so Cindy on this one. Hmm...who do I know that I would normally spend hundreds of dollars on for Christmas that would like the set? Who? Oh, yeah. No one.
Perhaps I could dole out them out a couple of seasons at a time and thus cover a few Christmases. What? Cheap? Me?
This is random, but did we know that Hannya is a Noh character who is a demon who was a scorned woman?

Tiggy is me, except I'm missing 2, 3 & 4 of Angel. I still can't justify that set with what I already have.
I have Buffy 1-5, DAMMIT. I cannot buy that box set. I have Angel Season 1, and strangely, 3. No Season 2 yet.
So I've been going through Buffy, and then added Angel into the mix at the appropriate time with a friend of mine (who is moving to Baltimore at the end of August, so will have to Netflix at this point forward), and last night we blasted through THE TRIAL, REUNION, and REDEFINITION. He didn't know what was coming and FREAKED OUT at the end of REUNION.
That's some good angsty television right there. I forgot just WHAT a shock that ending was, and they never took it back. Despite Dork!Angel and Googoogahgah!Angel, it's always going to be a fact that Angel with a soul locked a bunch of humans in with a couple of vampires and let them get slaughtered. Damn, I miss my shows.
