Jayne: Well... I don't like the idea of someone hearin' what I'm thinkin'. Inara: No one likes the idea of hearing what you're thinking.

'Objects In Space'

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

I think that auction is actually for an "English Killing Kit."

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Very late to the party, but if the pilot and outtake DVD idea turns out feasible, I'd pay materials and shipping fees for a copy as well.

Did you guys see Freddie Prinze Jr. saying "my wife won't make a Buffy movie?" [link]

Ficht nicht mit Der Raketemensch!

Hardly news, that, is it?

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

"It didn't work. That's why [they] made the TV series. It worked much, much better as a TV series," Prinze said.

actually, I don't think this is true. The movie didn't work because execs changed Joss' script/fucked with his vision. When he was at the reins, it was a hit. If it wouldn't work at the movie level, then any two parter would have tanked.

He may be right about SMG not wanting to do it, but I don't think that it "wouldn't work"

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

And even if it had failed in Joss's hands the first time round, there's no reason I can see that it can't be done right. I'm just leery of continuing stories from small screen onto big. Serenity's probably okay -- but that's half a season small.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'd be interested in a movie set in the Buffyverse but not involving any of the characters we know. Or with, say, Amanda cleaning up the Ohio hellmouth or something.

I forget, when I don't think about it, how many ways the X-files has scarred me.

The thing that amused me was that the interview was with FP Jr., but the article was about SMG. Guess who's the interesting one?

What is even happening?

Yeah. And really, the best thing he could do for his little sitcom is let her guest star, if she wants.
