Xander: We just saw the zebras mating! Thank you, very exciting... Willow: It was like the Heimlich, with stripes!

'Him'

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That article talks about the role she'll be playing, so skip it if you're averse.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Oooh. I saw the casting side for that. She's perfect.

'And on that tragic day, an era came to its inevitable end.' That's all there is.

BOOK REVIEW
'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince'
David Kipen, Chronicle Book Critic

All this Buffy-style combining of kid's stuff and saving the world is, of course, part of Harry Potter's tremendous appeal

Just one word. So proud.

What is even happening?

We watched FX's showing of Primeval, this afternoon. Man. I forgot how much the enjoining spell makes me want to write the epic au badfic. I started it once.

I love that spell. I so wish it had come home to roost a little more than it did in Restless. I thought it could have been employed to bring Buffy back to life after The Gift, or to go a way in explaining or fighting Willow's evil turn, or to explain the reappearance of the F.E., and the imbalance between good and evil that Season 7 blamed for provoking it.

Looks like CC is getting a recurring guest role on Veronica Mars

That's exciting. I've just started watching Veronica Mars with the reruns this summer, and I enjoy it more with each episode (I haven't seen the AH episodes yet).

That would have been really interesting (making season 7 much better, too) to have them all connected to the slayer power. It also could've given Giles and Xander much better storylines, and connected the core four more deeply (even if they resented the connection).

What is even happening?

I think resenting the connection could have been great.

Sigh. Season 7 is such a big "what might've been."

I wish that they'd done more with the Eye of Botox. It was a big ol' red herring, but I wish they'd used it. But, again, what might have been.
