Buffy: So how'd she get away with the bad mojo stuff? Anya: Giles sold it to her. Giles: Well, I didn't know it was her. I mean, how could I? If it's any consolation, I may have overcharged her.

'Sleeper'

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Peter David wraps up Cecily/Halfrek

It seems like I've read a fic like that. Or maybe just a theory.

I wrote a short fic with that premise just before Hells Belles. [link]

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I prefer the early seasons of BtVS to Angel, but the latter kicked Season 4 to the curb WRT my affections by the end of the initial broadcast of "City of..."

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Hey, it looks like I'm in good company.

S5 has individual redeeming moments, e.g. "Smile Time" and the aforementioned Cordy and Connor eps, but I'm firmly with Plei in the meh corner when one takes the season as a whole. "Power Play" and "Not Fade Away" felt like a return to what made AtS the show I fell in love with, but instead they're an unfinished coda to what could have been.

Now I'm nostalgic. Thank dog for DVDs.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

S5 had several of my favorite episodes, too. It's just that my S5 ended with 5x18.

Not a bad place for it to end. Nope. Not at all. The final scene killed me, even more than the last scene from 4x22.

PP and NFA feel more like the start of what should have been S6. There wasn't enough time to do the story justice and yank it up by the bootstraps out of mediocrity. I watched because it was the end, and the end was too soon.

Ann, that's a ferret.

There wasn't enough time to do the story justice

Exactly. It had the feel of "uh-oh, we only have 2 eps left to introduce and defeat a Big Bad, what are we gonna do?"

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

There are days I find myself with the Self-Esteem Song stuck in my head.

"Courage and Pluck" earworms me occasionally (why was that so hard to spell)

You should punch him.

Do it! Do it!

No, you should sue, and agree to settle if he produces a TV movie.
