Oh my god. What can it be? We're all doomed! Who's flying this thing!? Oh right, that would be me. Back to work.

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

What I was trying to express but not using enough words to really do so, I think, is that he’s not actually doing the work. If he is an addict he isn’t in recovery.

This was really clear to me last night as I was falling asleep but harder to pin down this morning, but the thing I keep coming back to is how very banal his evil is, how much like every other guy like that he has turned out to be, practically a cliche. Not even an interesting villain.

What is even happening?

That was how I read you, -t. I'm sorry my response reads like it wasn't. I should have used a "Yup" and an "and," rather than a "Well," and a "but."

It is so banal. His villainy is of the season 6 variety.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

His villainy is of the season 6 variety.

He's no Mayor Wilkins, that's for sure.

Does anyone else miss Mayor Wilkins - I just want to be a big snake.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Yes, frequently in recent years.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

I've been having increasing trouble with (lack of) attention span. Several times this week I've caught myself thinking, and even saying aloud, "Bored now."

Thank goodness my mic was muted.

Try to resist going full on evil.

And if you have to flay someone, make sure it doesn't go beyond deserving parties.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

The last couple episodes of Astrid and Lilly Save the World have gone from subtle Buffy references to explicitly mentioning Buffy more than once, but even without the reference it is such a delightful, fun show!
