Is silver a standard part of vampire killer lore? I associate it with werewolves mostly.
well, there is some stuff about how since silver is a "pure" metal, it's harmful to vampires. It doesn't kill them, it just hurts them.
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I'm confused by the Blade mythology. Not Hex!confused, but unclear nonetheless.
Oh. I'm so sad. I'm going to miss the thread turnover.
Unless everyone gets chatty... looks hopeful

It doesn't seem to be terribly consistent. Again, we are spoiled by Joss. The Blade target audience is more about blood, cool fights and sexy chicks than plot.
Cliff Simon, who plays Ba'al, is going to be at DragonCon. I plan to walk by him a few times and marvel at how stunning he is in person.
Jealous.
What channel is Blade on? I've seen nothing about it.
ETA: I'll be embarrassed if the answer is Sci-fi.

You also have to make him talk, I think, to get the full effect.
I think the silver knife is bogus anyway. Way too easy. Is silver a standard part of vampire killer lore? I associate it with werewolves mostly.
Same here. I'd never heard of it before Blade. I guess it gives him an excuse to shoot them.
Yeah, I'll be at the panel too. But it's amazing, just walking by the table where people are sitting and signing autographs, how many celebrities are just smoking hot. Connor Trineer, for example. Nathan Fillion. Tricia Helfer.
Blade's on Spike.
I'm not in love, but it's easy watching. Perhaps I'm taking it too easily, since I seem to have missed stuff, but things go boom, Blade snarls, and Jill Wagner is very pretty.
