You know, I just... I woke up, and I looked in the mirror, and I thought, hey, what's with all the sin? I need to change. I'm... I'm dirty. I'm, I'm bad with the... sex and the envy and that, that loud music us kids listen to nowadays.

Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I watched the pilot with my 11 & 14 year old sons and they loved it.

I just realized reading this that as much as I like EUREKA now, I wish I could have seen this show when I was a 10-15 year old because I would have LOVED it. Oh well.

I like that Jack is basically a modern Andy Griffith. In the Andy Griffith Show, everyone around him had something odd, something he was good at, Andy was good at being the reasonable one who cut through the crap. Jack's not dumb, not a luddite, embraces the technology that works for him, and respects the geeks around him. Tech may not be his thing, but he's not daunted by it.

I love this. So, does that make Fargo Barney Fife, and, if so, what do they only give him one of that he has to keep in his shirt pocket?

I'd add that Jack's also got a good sense of deduction that fills a necessary gap in the town's skill set, which is probably going to be what causes conflict with/problems for evil shrink lady.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I'm impressed that Neil is the voice of SARAH. I would never have guessed.

The memory wipe thing didn't really disturb me until I realized, along with poor Kim, just how many times he'd probably done it. I wouldn't have vaporized him, but I would've punched his lights out myself.

Has anyone else been watching the episode "bits" on SciFi website? It's a short episode called "Hide and Seek", and they're putting each act on the web after the show airs on Tuesdays.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

No, I didn't even know they existed! Ah, something to do on my down time at work!

Thanks for stopping by, Colin!

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

When Henry showed up at the lab to help with the super-indestructable-fabric project, what label did he velcro to his uniform? Was it "Scientist"? I couldn't quite make it out.

Regardless, one of the things I'm enjoying about the show are small touches like that.

My 10 year old doesn't quite get it but my 15 year old adores the show. She ranks it up there with Project Runway, which is quite the compliment (PR is must-see for her). Plus I think she's got a little crush on Colin (sorry ita!) It's lots of fun and I'm really glad it's getting good numbers.

Now tagless for your comfort.

It's lots of fun and I'm really glad it's getting good numbers.

After dealing with early cancellations on shows that I love, good numbers give me a happy.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Not Laura, but I thought it was kind of lame, even though I think Keith needed to go.

what do you think about last night's debacle

I thought it was kind of lame

Both she and I wondered about sketch-gate and Bravo's silence but we were both glad at the outcome. Very glad
