I don't think that Jason has the knowledge to build it, even if he stole the originial idea from Henry. Remember, he couldn't solve the equation, even "knowing" the answer.
Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
My take on that is that 20 years of using the memory device to cheat has made him intellectually lazy, so he would have been able to build it based on Henry's original designs, even if he couldn't do it now.
I think you play to your strengths. If you cheat and steal to keep control over your life, then that's your go to. I don't think you bother to figure much out beyond that.
We lost a couple of scenes for time. I would have liked to see them back. Just because they were slower scenes and it gave a bit of breathing room.
But you get no points for making a great 47 minute show.
What were the lost scenes? (I hate knowing there are lost scenes. I always want to see them.)
My next step is to ask ita for a million bucks, right?
YOu know, when you suddenly see "we" in a show-thread (or a de facto show-thread), you do that "is this somebody with no self-other separation?" moment.
And then you read the user name. Hi, and welcome aboard.
My next step is to ask ita for a million bucks, right?
Or a pony.
Though I guess a million bucks could be put towards several ponies, so, hey!

Nice to see you here!
Oh, I'm Colin. I play Jack on the show.
Any questions?
I'd love to share our on set battles about ideas.
Last night was the first one I've had a chance to watch all the way through. I liked it in general, but agree that a bit too much handwaving was required for the memory losses re: Henry and Kim's romance being derailed. I just don't see how that could have happened unless the device either allowed the user to create false memories or could wipe out some already stored long-term memories as well.
eta: Welcome aboard, Colin.
