Funny thing about black and white. You mix it together and you get gray. And it doesn't matter how much white you try and put back in, you're never gonna get anything but gray.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

And I'm supposed to walk away from everything I've been living for the past decade to pretend to be the mother of an orphan and the wife of a staticky ball of electricity? That's all kinds of wrong.

Did she actually say she was going to stay? It was implied that she had a change of heart about the kid, but I never read it as set in stone that she was going to stay and be that Susan Perkins from now on. That would just be sloppy writing.

(Also, does Walter even know that the other version died and that the one standing outside the big ball o'static is the original who left him? We never got a scene where they explicitly filled him in on what was going on while he was mostly dead.)

OMG SG-1 was a blast.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

We have baseball in Indiana, dammit! We have one of the finest (okay, admittedly minor-league) fields around. But still. Harumph.

Yes, but that would've been "Indianapolis," not "Indiana." The only teams called "Indiana" are basketball teams, as it right and proper.

Oh, and I was a little puzzled at the lurkity of what I presume now is evil-shrink-lady.

Evil-shrink-lady murdered Susan #2, and made it look like suicide, if that helps. Which brings up a point. Did anyone do an autopsy on Susan #2, or even investigate the fact that it might not be a suicide? Sure, she was distraught, but there was also evidence that her husband might have been in cahoots with persons unknown to obtain tech from Section 5, something she might have had knowledge of. You'd think someone might wonder about the suspiciousness of the circumstances. Where's Grissom when you need him?

Also, does Walter even know that the other version died and that the one standing outside the big ball o'static is the original who left him?

He knows the latter, at least, because Susan #1 asks him "Why?", and he explains about wanting a family, etc. They didn't depict a lot of stuff in the episode.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Did she actually say she was going to stay?

Well, the thing that sucks is about the kid. Because right now he doesn't believe anything other than, his mom isn't dead. So if, after revealing herself to the kid, she then chooses to leave, she'll have a lot of 'splainin to do.

Also,

The only teams called "Indiana" are basketball teams, as it right and proper.

Heh. Okay, this is true.

Art Crawl!!!

They didn't say whether she would stay or go.

I watched both old and new Nightstalkers. I had watched the new one before, my main reason for rewatching is the hope that I get to see the resolution of the CLIFFHANGER that they left us with upon cancellation.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

The only teams called "Indiana" are basketball teams, as it right and proper.

Heh. Okay, this is true.

I'll have you know that IU has a (mediocre) baseball team, as well as football, soccer, and a variety of women's teams

I don't know anyone who watches any of those, though.

I definitely had the "really?" response to the line.

SGA: I have to say that I think this ep would have been much more fun if someone other than John had been the one to save everyone.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I still want to know why anyone thinks sports choices programmed by the Mouthbreather Fargo would be anything anyone would want to watch. Jack's lucky he didn't get a dominoes tournament.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

It did seem pretty ironic that Daniel, the king of the magical translation (Thor moved them here 4,000 years ago. It's a form of Old Norse. I can read it!), should be put on his guard by a computer doing a magical translation.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Seems like Susan is intended to stay, otherwise why introduce the character at all? It's weird. Her own life must totally suck if she's willing to take over the life of her dead clone who married her ex.

And she said her parents had called her in shock. She's going to have fun explaining that one. "Oh no, Mom and Dad, it wasn't me. It was another woman who looked exactly like me and had the same name who married that guy I used to date."

Didn't Susan-Clone ever have any desire to talk to her parents? How did Walter convince her never to contact them, if she thought she was Real-Susan? Maybe she knew she was a clone? Maybe Susan never talked to her parents anyway, and maybe that's part of why her life is sucks so much she'd trade it.

And how is she going to explain to the kid things like why Mommy doesn't know what his favorite cereal is anymore?

I'm sure none of this is ever going to be explained. I hope they at least give some reason why a new Susan was needed. Besides just needing someone to kill to show how evil LadyShrink was.

I need to not think so much about tv shows.
