Yeah, I thought the DOD agent was WAY out of line. I was so happy that Susan snarked at her for it, too. THAT was the scene where I was afraid they were going to have her go all maternal.

Funny thing is, until I typed out the sentence, I didn't see the Sarah/SARAH bit :)

The Gellar thing was funny, and I got the SARAH/Sarah thing as soon as the mouthbreather said it.

I liked that the "ghost" was a result of stuff that happened last week.

I did, too, except that it was too easy to figure out who it had to be almost from the beginning of the episode.

Last night's Eureka was definitely not as good as the pilot, but, again, Henry (Joe Morton) was my favorite character of the ep, even though he was mostly in the background. The best bit was his velcro strip for his changeable job titles, which is why his generic coveralls work so well for him. I also liked that his expertise also, apparently, covers religious ceremonies as well (loved his African garb at the gravesite!).

I think what I liked most about this episode was Colin's line reading. Which is of less interest to everyone else, I suppose.

The episode cheated in what it needed to accomplish--two cheats, I feel.

The first was the maternal switch that made it so that Sarah #2 stuck around. Now, if her sticking around is messy, I will give that a pass--an impulsive decision that she has to learn to work with because it's kinda too late to back out.

The other cheat was in whose ghost it was. Or more precisely in the recognition thereof. Unless I miss my mark, they didn't give us the same visual information Jack had to identify who it was.

Now, once he knew who it was, guessing where it was going was...well, one of two. Either to his kid, or to the people who could fix it. I guess the appearance at GD covered the latter, so it was about the former.

However, I don't think it was made clear how Allison knew where to go. I know the ghost appeared near the kid...but was that enough if she didn't know who it was? Okay, since it appeared in her house I'll give her that. And perhaps she was following it herself.

Yes! That was a problem -- they eventually showed us Walter in the glowy stuff but not 'til the end.

BTW, the webisodes are being put up and each of them is just under 2 minutes. There's a prologue and episode 1.

I guess that the BSG webisodes will be similar.

Colin is totally charming in the role. I have no issues with his character. His reactions have been appropriate for the character.

Henry is a delight. I hope every episode something blows up and someone says "Call Henry."

Annoying that everyone except every single person watching the show didn't figure out instantly that Walter was glowy ghost.

I like Allison despite having no good reason to like her. Jo is over the top, but in a fun way. There is enough potential there with interesting characters to make me come back for more. Jury is still out on the story lines.
