Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

What I liked so much was that they stayed really true to Rose's character. After all that's gone before, killing her or having her leave would have been cop-outs. I also liked that they gave her everything she could have wished for before - intact family, material security - but she's still bereft .

For those of you not so versed in Brit TV, the bride at the end was played by Catherine Tate, a well-known comedien. It'll be interesting to see how that plays out. 170 days until Christmas, apparently.

All is well that ends in pizza.

170 days until Christmas, apparently.

From what I've read, that'll be a one-shot for the character, and they claim they won't add the new companion for the doctor until after the Christmas episode.

So when does Torchwood start, again?

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

Our wings are not tired.

I ahem acquired Doctor Who 2x1 - 2x12 this weekend to enjoy marathon style. It's going to be a fun week. The plan is to be all self controlled and watch 2 a day to stretch it out. Ahhhhh

eta: of course I already read all the whitefont, so not so much with the self control

If I only had a brain...

No spoilers, just paparazzi pics: David Tennant: v. thin. But not in a scary way. ita, he's wet, although possibly not wet enough.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Oh, I did hear that he was dating that actress from The Girl in the Fireplace. They had nice chemistry together.

I'm about half way through S2, and resisting the white-font has been tough. Also, I was watching Impossible Planet last night and had to give myself a break because it was freaking me out.
