A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Also,if you Netflix, the DVDs will be coming out in a couple weeks, so you can fill any holes in your viewing.
You aren't really a season behind, Vortex, because S2 hasn't aired in the U.S. yet. You have a summer (has SciFi announced their schedule?) to get in the groove.
I don't see a schedule announced yet, but they do mention both the Tenth Doctor and Torchwood in the "Doctor Who Trivia" sidebar on their show page, which I think is a good sign that they'll both be picked up.
(My guess would be that they'll keep it on Fridays, and air S2 while BSG is on hiatus, which may mean we won't get it until January.)
But BSG isn't coming back 'til October -- will it go on hiatus in January?
Oh right - forgot about that. It'd be really nice if they brought Who back early, in that case...
Mid-season hiatus. Basically, SciFi usually says "screw it" and cedes sweeps to the networks, so they air half the season, then re-runs, then pick it up again, which is why the half-season DVDs weren't quite as insane it seems.
I was counting on 13 eps before hiatus, so if BSG comes back in October, they'll go off the air again in mid-January. So my Who math wasn't entirely crack-addled after all.
So, they comeback beginning of October and go through the beginning of December and then Who comes back for 13 weeks and BSG comes back at the end of March?
I think they're just going to replace it all with the Doctor wrestling the Daleks.
