If I only had a brain...

CE is actually a British movie and stage star as well; in the UK actors move back and forth easily between all genres. Note that John Barrowman made his name in musical comedy.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

Eccleston was greater, and I miss him. Not as much as I'd feared, but still. I like his razor's edge of anguish.

don't get me wrong, i miss Eccleston. he was my first Doctor and will always have that special place in my heart. i'm just really enjoying the enthusiasm that Tennant is bringing to the role. a lot more than i thought i would.

Nora, i remember hearing something about CE not wanting to stay for fear of being typecasted. i don't know how true that is. when i watched the finale last summer and realized that he wasn't coming back, i freaked out.

That's what Betsy referred to - it was the false reason the BBC put out for him not continuing in the role, where in fact it had been planned from the outset that he would only do one season.

Five minutes to The Satan Pit; I have a blanket to hide behind and some chocolate. All set!

All is well that ends in pizza.

Tiggy's LJ also had a link to Polter-Cow's LJ entry after the end of "Parting of the Ways"

Oh, and that led to the PotW-spoilery The Dalek Song.

Ever fired your gun in the air and yelled, 'Aaaaaaah?'

Oh, and that led to the PotW-spoilery The Dalek Song.

Is it supposed to sound so staticy? May just be my speakers. It's hilarious either way.

What, no Buffista squees about The Kiss? My three-way is canon.

I'll squee. I'm just pleased that one of my three-ways is canon. (the others House/Wilson/Cuddy, Jack/Will/Elizabeth, Veronica/Logan/Weevil)

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Is it supposed to sound so staticy?

Yep. It's based on "The Llama Song," whose audio is similarly indecipherable.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I just played The Dalek Song about twelve times. I don't know why I love those stupid little song-things, but I do.

There are other things I could be watching, but I am so enjoying the feel of good television.
