Hmmm, just noticed Paul McGann in the promo for the Next "Crimes of Passion" thing on BBCA - last week it was David Tennant. Next week?
'Safe'
Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
The BBC aired those give-everything-away promos during the series. The concept of suprise doesn't seem to have taken root there (OTOH, they were promoting the hell out of the return of the Daleks anyway, so there wouldn't have been many people left to spoil).
New ep 2.8:
Boy, that was scary. Very Alien-esque. OK, very lots-of-other-sci-fi-esque, but it certainly worked.
blasted white-font, how I hate you.
Regarding the new episode of Doctor Who on BBC One.
Did anyone else think the music came from a Firefly episode? Or is that just me?
grrrrrrrrr. Soon, soon I say, I shall be able to uncover the words of the white font with spoiler impugnity. And I shall be the master of all spoilers! Mwahahahahahaahhaahah!
But the real question is, why do I so want to put that unneeded g in impunity?
Because the word 'impugn' really does have a g in it, even though 'impunity' does not.
Thank you, Karl. I feel slightly less insane now.
Nice cleavage on Mary McDonnell.
I picked up this week's TV Guide because it had an actual DVD attached to the cover. The listing for this week's Doctor Who: "Earth goes to war, testing the friendship of the Doctor and Rosie [sic]". Doctor Who may be everything in England, but--Rosie? Oh, and almost nothing about Doctor Who in EW's Summer TV Preview. So, not a lightning rod for media attention here.
