Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

If I only had a brain...

Ladies -- has anybody vidded "The Internet Is For Porn"? -- because it seems an obvious candidate.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

The other thing about "Scratch n' Sniff", Betsy, was that originally it was told linearly without the Pilot conversations, and it really didn't work (I should credit 'Suela here with the info).

So they went back and played with all the editing tricks that ended up in there, and added the scenes with Pilot getting all "I'm going to turn this ship around" with John and D'Argo.

Plus, how can you not enjoy an ep with Rave!D'Argo. That was some David Boreanaz-worthy bad dancing right there.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Has anybody (Consuela?) ever seen a Farscape script, as opposed to a transcript? Are they full of amusing stage directions?

I have a couple of scripts at home. Will take a gander and report back if they contain teh funny.

I'm really looking forward to Vividcon, which I expect to be a far better, and meatier, experience.

Yay! It is a dense and meaty experience. And it is also where I discovered that I can watch vids all day long for three days straight and not hit my limit. Which is a little terrifying, but there you go.

Thrive to spite them

I'm so excited about going to vividcon this year!!

Also, I saw in livejournal that wolfling (I think) has made a short Blackadder vid, which is very funny and too short.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

If not, there's always the bad martini with which to get piss-drunk.

Hee. "Hey, this is the worst martini ever! Wanna try?" "Yeah! Wow, that's awful! Hey, you wanna try the worst martini ever?" "Yeah!"

So sad. Fun night, though.

The authors writing John/Rodney are making me cry. They can't fall for a pairing I like? Wah!

Well, at least we get good banter.

Sigh.

I'm sorely tempted to write Cam/Daniel just to get a jump on everyone. Of course, kinda difficult, given the circumstances, but I like the idea of beating the rush.

Hey, who needs a personality to work with?

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

Cock!

Hey, who needs a personality to work with?

Well, I'm sure there will be a personality, given the Spoiler. The question is, what form will it take?

July is too far away. When you're here, we should draft the first episode.

Oh, yes, I assume there'll be one. It's a mystery personality! Or possibly Schroedinger's personality.
