I guess, I don't really mean that Baltar takes charge of the toddler knowing which child it is, but more - he winds up in charge of her despite her being secreted off the Galactica. You know, how Oedipus winds up sleeping with his mother and killing his father - a you can't escape your fate sort of thing.
Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Heh. Baltar caring for a baby = comedy gold!
I've rewatched "Final Edit" and "Flight of the Phoenix" now:
do we think that the attack on the Colonial Fleet in FotP was to create a situation in which the humans had to rely on Sharon to save them so that they would protect her -- which was a goal stated at the end of Final Edit -- or was it a sign that there was already a split in goals among the Cylons?
Baltar caring for a baby = comedy gold!
True. Which would help BSG for me. It's a bit more on the bleak side than I would prefer.
Well, does it make it more of a possibility if the Hero Six is one of the ones now in charge of New Caprica? (Or so it would seem from the end of LYBD2.)
In the department of "things you never expect to see, but love them instantly once you do:" the BSG characters a la The Simpsons.
Interesting note from the Dr. Who Wiki pages:
. Another story, written by Stephen Fry, was originally commissioned for Series 2, but has been moved to this series [series/season 3]due to logistical issues. Fry's episode was rumoured to be set on Earth during the 1930s and to have "lots of special effects". Fry told Scotland Today that his story "deals with a well-known British legend."
Jeeves?!?
Hee.
Another interesting Wiki tidbit:
According to a report in The Daily Mirror newspaper, Queen Elizabeth is a fan of the new series of Doctor Who, and requested DVDs of the 2005 series during her summer stay at Balmoral.
Does the Queen watch from behind the sofa?
Does the Queen watch from behind the sofa?
She has the servants do that for her.
