She's terse. I can be terse. Once in flight school, I was laconic.

Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Huh--looking at his birthyear, he was in the same graduating class at Joliet West as Andy Dick. (ETA: Oops--did the math wrong, he would have graduated a year behind AD.)

As for that comment on his bio from the Disney Parks rep who tried to recruit him for a cast role (and whom he turned down to return to the UK) about how the good performers always seem to turn Disney down, all I gotta say is that Michael Berresse, another Joliet native, started out with Disney and then ended up nominated for a Tony a few years ago (he's starring as Zach in the upcoming Broadway revival of A Chorus Line and made his TV-drama debut in a featured role in L&O:CI earlier this season).

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

JB was born the same year as me. 1967 was a bit of a low-point, demographically, so I'm absurdly pleased to see other folks born then.

Well, I'm not-so-absurdly pleased to see Barrowman anywhere, anyhow. Also, his Cole Porter CD is terrific.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I know someone asked upthread, and I didn't see an answer, but anyone know what's up with SciFi this weekend? No DR. WHO according to my listings, and it looks like it's bad movie weekend. Is this just for the holiday weekend?

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Is this just for the holiday weekend?

Yeah, holiday weekends usually equal cheesy marathons of some kind or another on SciFi.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Having not read the article, I think I will be happiest if I assume it's aliens wrestling. Or robots. Or robot aliens.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Mansquito v. aliens!

I always figured pro wrestling was a work of fiction. Science fiction, nsm.

This is like the cartoon network showing SAVED BY THE BELL, isn't it?
