A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I enjoyed Who 2.4. I thought the actress who played
MdeP was wonderful,
and I thought the interaction between her an
Rose was quite touching.
And
Mickey
did something funny that made me laugh out loud, but now I can't remember what it was.
Anyway, over all,
sad, sweet, engaging.
I liked it.
And I had a great time rewatching
The Empty Child.
I'd forgotten parts of it. Good and creepy. That's the ep (well, the two-parter) that pushed me from like to love, if I recall.
I'm sort of sad that this show is so relentlessly [pseudo]science-based, as I'm sure they're going to explain it as runaway nanites that imprinted on the first person they encountered or somesuch. It'd be better if there was room for the supernatural/unknown and the nature of the contagion was never explained at all.
Matt, I obviously won't tell you how they explain it, but I'll just say that I thought it was brilliant and brilliantly done.
As for the latest new episode, I liked it. It was like a
lovely, condensed version of The Time Traveler's Wife. And the music at the end was wonderful.
Man, I am so much a sucker for Creepy Child tropes. I get completely skeeved all the time. The roommate (who I think may be hooked now) had a good time laughing at me freaking quietly (and sometimes not so quietly) out. I'm used to watching my fandom-type television alone, so it was fun for me to have him along.
Eee! So whether or not it's a hit on Sci-Fi, there will be episodes to ahem for awhile to come.
Damn good, but just before bedtime ... not a good time to watch The Empty Child.
which is why I turned it off and watched a rerun of The Boondocks instead :) Just the one look at
the creepy gas mask
was enough for me. Ever since
the Carver on Nip Tuck, masks
have weirded me out.
Vortex, you don't have to wf aired stuff. (With like 3 levels of what people have seen, it's confusing enough anyway, IMO)
Guys In Skirts alert: David Tennant wore a kilt to the BAFTAs.

thanks, deb, wasn't sure, so I erred on the side of caution (not "aired" as I saw the other day) easy enough with a return and an "s"
Well, I found some nabbable pictures of DT in kilts but none of them are alone.
