Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Thrive to spite them

They've been doing that all along, if memory serves.

CSI started out at least having a cop in the same room and mostly running the interrogations with the Grissom, Kat, whoever present and asking questions but not really running the show. The last few times I watched it was just the CSIs.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Did Quincy ever interrogate suspects in the box?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I am a very bad BSG/GG fan. I totally missed this incident of Lorelai Gilmore using the word, "Frakking".

Here's a link to the post directly: [link]

It's the second BSG reference on the show (Rory once mused that her grandmother was in every room of the house, like she was a Cylon).

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

RE: BetsyHP's link.... now I wanna know what famous landmark DB threw up in...

House also has nurses when less than the whole set of ducklings is in the room and they need to do something complex, like restrain a patient, restart their heart, etc.

If I only had a brain...

As if a doctor as senior as House would *ever* draw his own blood...

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

As if a doctor as senior as House would *ever* draw his own blood...

I have seen this kind of thing happen: A client of mine I had accompanied to the hospital for a blood draw was so hard for the phlebotomist and nurse to find any vein on. Finally, in reverential tone of voice, the nurse said, "I know, I'll go find Dr. _____, he'll be able to do it." Which she did, and then he did. He also waxed long and poetical about the whys and hows of getting a vein from an individual like this, including recommendations for future procedures (which I assiduously noted in his file). And this is a very different story from House just plowing right in and drawing blood just cuz he wants some NOW, Dammit! and doesn't want to wait for a nurse or tech.

ETA: a close-paren.

I love this ep so much, I'm going to watch it in real time.

ETA: With all the lights on.

Our wings are not tired.

I've never seen this episode before. Oh my. I may have to watch it again.

Our wings are not tired.

So tonight was the first time Brendon saw Doctor Who. He liked it, but now he is mad at me that it didn't conclude. And he'll be out of town next Friday.

Heh, I remember being kind of "Bwuh??" when I realized it was a cliffhanger. Assure Brendan that Part II will be well worth the wait.
