Buffy. When I saw you stop the world from, you know, ending, I just assumed that was a big week for you. Turns out I suddenly find myself needing to know the plural of 'apocalypse.'

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Hey, if we move forward to the 70s he could play... er, I think it would have to be Avon. I can't picture him as Blake. Well, not without a wig.

"The Prisoner is like Pandora's box - it's the ultimate conspiracy thriller," said Damien Timmer, executive producer of the show.

Thriller? What? They're going to make it into Lost, aren't they? I really don't need that.

Feh. Leave things that were good the first time alone. There's plenty of crap to recycle.

I watched the SG-1 episode "48 Hours" last night. It's odd seeing McKay's first appearance—so much more cheerily chauvinistic and less stressed than I'd imagined. Also it was odd to see how arrogant and dismissive Carter was toward him before his off-putting personality became evident. Like, to the point that I think she richly deserved the insults Rodney lobbed at her. Was she like that in all of Season 5, or was it a one-time thing?

Art Crawl!!!

Tonight is the night that Scfi is running L&O:SVU - but the website says Doctor Who.

Confusing.

Are they running L&O and American Psycho on Scifi because they've got sports on TNT?

Thrive to spite them

L&O as regular programming on SCI FI? I'm starting to think Dick Wolf sold his soul to the Devil, why else would the shows be on so often?

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Matt, I think she (and the rest of the SGC) were pretty much always like that to him. It was only magnified by the whole "almost killed Teal'c" thing. And I believe that this is actual memory, and not just fic-incluenced.

The thing is, he was actually right about most of his suppositions (except Teal'c coming back wrong). They just lucked out that Carter's final solution only fried a DHD as opposed to leaving a Tycho-sized crater where Cheyenne Mountain used to be.

Yes. And he played a goa'uld, too.
