That's silly. Lee's too dumb to be a Cylon.

He's a sleeper agent who's especially... sleepy.

Yeah, it turns out the whole show is just one big Cylon civil war....

Maybe he was an earlier model. First there were the shiny robots, and then there were whiny big-armed boys, but in Beta testing it was discovered that they were way, way too upset about not being designated "Alpha," so then they went on to Cylon 2.0.

The shiny toasters ran DOS, Lee runs Windows Me, and Cylon 2.0s run OS X.

Ha! Do you think the whole thing started because the flying toasters screensaver gave them ideas?

I just realized that I prefer calling him Apollo because my brother's name is Lee. So it feels weird to say, "Lee's kinda dopey! And not very tall, besides!"

I've had so many epiphanies today. All involving how I relate to fictional characters, but still.

I probably shouldn't be drinking coke right before bed, huh? Now I"m chattery. Oops.

I also stayed up much too late to watch about 3/4 of the BSG mini. Still fun.

I stayed up later to watch all of it. Never saw it before, so very fun, indeed!

SCI FI Channel announced the development of Caprica, a spinoff prequel of its hit Battlestar Galactica, in presentations to advertisers in New York on April 26. Caprica would come from Galactica executive producers Ronald D. Moore and David Eick, writer Remi Aubuchon (24) and NBC Universal Television Studio.

Caprica would take place more than half a century before the events that play out in Battlestar Galactica. The people of the Twelve Colonies are at peace and living in a society not unlike our own, but where high-technology has changed the lives of virtually everyone for the better.

But a startling breakthrough in robotics is about to occur, one that will bring to life the age-old dream of marrying artificial intelligence with a mechanical body to create the first living robot: a Cylon. Following the lives of two families, the Graystones and the Adamas (the family of William Adama, who will one day become the commander of the Battlestar Galactica), Caprica will weave together corporate intrigue, techno-action and sexual politics into television's first science fiction family saga, the channel announced.

Reading that made me scream "What the fuck?" a couple of times. Which alarmed a friend. I'm just going to assume that the "in development" part means that the blurb should not be taken all that seriously.

ION, skipping from "Epiphanies" to "Lay Down Your Burdens" makes S2 much less irritating. I wouldn't have skipped "Downloaded" except it was already midnight.
