I'm a single undead gal trying to make it in the big city. I have to start somewhere and they're evil here. They don't judge. They've got necro-tempered glass. No burning up. A great medical plan, and who needs dental more than us?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

and then got to use the other legend of Robin's origins to introduce Robert of Huntingdon

Yes! I was so excited by that, even in my fiction-grieving. I was wandering around chirping about the cleverness for what was probably an irritatingly long time.

Still, I was in high school. Perfectly appropriate.

Ray Winstone has probably done the best of the cast, I think--I barely associate him with the show anymore. I did catch Jason Connery in Smallville and one of the Wishmaster movies, and I did laugh nigh unto crying.

Yes, oh yes. Between him and The Professionals, it was a hell of a kick start.

Who do you think the band was named after, P-C?

The names of the twin girls who front it, actually.

When I rewatched RoS a few years ago I was struck by the fact that they only had 4 different tunes for the entire soundtrack. I thought the show still worked reasonably well. I mean, considering. The side-stories and character moments were almost always more interesting than the plots, but it's not unique that way.

I did not like Jason Connery, but it had more to do with me finding a lot of his episodes to be a bit painful to sit through. And all the stuff with Gisbourne made me angry. So it's not his fault, but I associate him with bad writing. Connery did get to deliver an excellent joke ("How do you shake a poacher's hand? On a piece of string!") which I love to retell despite the fact that it requires more context than I can provide.
