Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
The BBC used to have a terrific Dr Who soundboard with all the 60s/70s effects on it, but I can't find it now -- I wonder if they took it down.
I will say I was horribly disappointed that a 2-disc set of TV themes from the 60's (and I think 70's) had, of all things, an ORCHESTRAL version of the Dr. Who theme. It was undeniably interesting, but a) waayyyyyy too slow and b) what's the point?
I didn't buy it for the Dr. Who theme specifically, but I still felt ripped off.
I think it is amazingly cool that the original Doctor Who theme was made in 1963 and still sounds cutting-edge today. Fantastic bit of work.
OK, so the '80's version was done on analog synths. I stand corrected.
Oh, I love James Nesbitt. Good fun!
I know! I hope it's good.
The Doctor Who theme was already ruined when they changed it in the '80s.Oh please. Gaah!
Supernatural was extra fun last night.
Smallville - eh. But guess what -- Clark and Lana FINALLY broke up. (I thought that they broke up before hiatus.)
