So there is something I can do, besides scream like a woman?

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Can we get a cautious 'Woo'? Although this one sounds a bit on a crack-addled side.

Oh, dear, is Jack wearing a suit in that photo? At least he's not wearing a tie, thank God.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Not about the casting news, but about the plot of the 200th episode--COOL ASSED SHOUTOUT.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Vonnie: That picture's from Wormhole X-Treme!, I think--I know they had Jack in full uniform for that. (Mmm.) I don't think they've even started shooting S10 yet.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

Also re: the 200th plot... "SG-1 meets 'Team America'"? I think I need to see this right now.

And now I want to make an SG-1 vid using the montage song...

eta: sweet heavens, i suck...

Katie: Right! Of course. I left my brains on the oven this morning.

Btw, I caught RDA in the Mastercard commercial last night as McGyver. It was frelling adorable.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Okay, that sounds either awful, or marvelously crackaddled.

Also, Katie? If the crossover to Atlantis were Jack going with Daniel --all I can think of is IcarusIncalion's Colony Atlantis. Heh.

Suela: Hee. Well, that wasn't exactly what I had in mind...

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Over at the BSG in the Media thread at TWoP, someone put up a report from Richard Hatch's panel at this weekend's I-Con. Funniest thing was the blooper reel he showed:

There was one bit with Adama making a call from the CIC--to Castillo. A few bloopers, including one from "Bastille Day", where the guy who attacks Cally, goes into the cell "wall"--and ends up flattening it! (At which point, he jumps up and runs off shouting gleefully, "I'm free!")

The two best bits were deliberately put-together bits: one was a sort of "I'm too sexy for my shirt" bit with Tigh that was very funny. The other was the absolute funniest part: "Gaeta in Love", to the strains of Marlene Dietrich singing, "Falling in Love Again." It was Hoyay all the way! Including Apollo (and the chained hands), Adama and most of all, Baltar. It ended with Gaeta on the "phone" saying, "The back door is open." Everyone was basically ROFL by the time it was finished.

Our wings are not tired.

Oh that does sound like fun Kathy. Here's hoping that gets out to those of us not attending the con.

Katie M - Big old hug and kiss for making my day with that link. Woo!

Oh, 200 looks like an absolute blast!
