Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Oh, great, now I have the voice of Gunther in my head saying, "Put the mouse back in the house, pal. This is a family establishment."
I just watched the first two new Doctor Whos. I love it! This is exactly the sort of thing I like best: realistic, believable human reactions in completely unrealistic unbelievable situations. And it gets better from here? I'm in.
Also, only the first season of IMan is out on DVD, and only in Region 2. I don't understand it; it was a popular show.

Especially since now they've had a taste of freedom....
Oh, FRELL. My existing download is bad and I need to re-download Dr. Who "Bad Wolf". I'm really clueless -- where do I go to look for a seed?
So, I am ahemming using Azureus from seeds found on Mininova and TorrentSpy. What do I need to know about safety? virus scan after download -- anything else?
The BBC had kids (ages 4, 6, 8, and 12) watch each episode, and rate the scaryness.
The page I'm linking to has the name of the ep (they're in reverse or out out of order, not sure which), the scary rating, and an image, some of which could be considered mildly spoilery. You can click to read a more detailed kid analysis for each ep, which also has more spoilers.
That said... I'd watch them all first before watching with a child, as kidfear varies.
And as I said after watching the above-referenced two episodes, I thought I was done having the ever-loving shit scared out of me by Doctor Who. I found myself rolling back away from the computer and pulling my shirt to just underneath my eyes.
(FWIW, the old skool ep that scarred me most memorably was the blood-sucking rocks. ::shudders::)
