Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Is it Philip Marlowe who says that if you live outside the law, you have to be honest?

I don't know about Marlowe, but Bob Dylan certainly did.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I've been meaning to mention a fanwank I had two weeks ago when they showed that Caprica!Six was in love with Baltar.

If they want to explain away the glowy spine thing from the pilot, they can say that Caprica!Six was in love, and being the first Six to do so, the glowy thing was never noticed.

I liked how the actress who plays Six showed us a Caprica!Six who was holding herself back from jumping Baltar right then and there. It was like "it's him! Him! Him! Him! Him! Baltar! It's Me! Me!!"

I was amused.

If I only had a brain...

Then I'm sure it was Dylan I was thinking of.

Now I'm thinking of the attack montage with Dylan's "All Along The Watchtower," as done by Jimi Hendrix, played over it.

There must be some way out of here
Said the joker to the theif
There`s too much confusion
I can`t get no relief...

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My TiVo recording cut off just as Starbuck was replying to Tigh's question about what they were going to do--what did she say? What happened after that?

I...I am meh on the whole thing. I liked the election shenanigans, but didn't love them. And the one year later with the accelerated frump left me mostly cold.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

My TiVo recording cut off just as Starbuck was replying to Tigh's question about what they were going to do--what did she say? What happened after that?

Tigh? Do you mean Tyrel? When Tyrel asked her that question, she said what she said earlier: "What we always do - fight them until we can't."

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Something like, "The same thing we always do. Fight until we can't anymore."

After that, I think we just had shots of the metal Cylons marching through NewCap City.

Right. Tyrol. My bad.

Thanks.

It was very difficult not to fill in, "Try to take over the world," when she said that.

They're Saul Tigh and Starbuck
Saul Tigh and Starbuck
One is annoying, the other's a drunk...
