I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

Who played the cop that was involved with one of the sisters in the very early days of the show?

that was Ted King. he's on General Hospital these days and still looking fine.

the music on BSG was weird and very un-BSG-like. the rest? eh. they're not doing a very good job of making these episodes cohesive. it feels like there should be episodes in between explaining how we got here.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I would have liked it if Baltar (or Roslin, but for plot purposes Baltar would have worked better) had voiced the option of splitting the fleet. Put a colony on the new planet, and continue looking for Earth. That would have made more sense than the all-or-nothing option, and you could see the appeal of the idea while also recognizing that it was a Bad Idea.

Was I imagining things, or did Atlantis have Sheppard get defensively evasive about Weir's question concerning whether or not a diplomat was attractive, hot on the heels of being inexplicably upset by McKay flirting with the obligatory fashion model/scientist?

Was I imagining things

I can't remember specifically, but considering the source text, I'm gonna have to go with 'no'.

I've been working my way through my Due South season one dvds with my flatmate. Last night we watched a couple, and who should we spot but Mark Ruffalo! Followed closely by Ryan Phillipe! Whoever did casting on that show sure knew what they were doing. Also, Fraser is even hotter than I remember. I don't think my twelve year old hormones appreciated him as much as they could have.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm curious how well it'd look on a monitor or TV screen, as the iTunes TV video downloads are at a lower resolution than standard TV.

iTunes videos are half the resolution of broadcast-quality video, so it'll be visible, but not great.

Like, it'd be funny if Zarek became the voice of moderation and reason. And not an impossible place for them to go.

That would be great, if he stole the election out from underneath both of them. (I kind of doubt it'll go that way, only because it's the finale and it would be a ton of plot to get through, even in a 90-minute ep.)

Our wings are not tired.

Ah. Just finished re-watching last week’s BSG because I couldn’t remember the end. Was really sleep watching. And now for this week!

How much do I love that Laura gets the giggles? Cute.

The Baltar/6 scenes have a whole new wondrous quality in light of the 6/Baltar relationship on Caprica. Enjoyed Tigh’s continued annoyance at Adama’s fondness for Starbuck.

Yay for Dean Stockwell! Nice to see him on Galactica. You can't be a Cylon because I haven't seen you at the meetings. Hee. Poor Chief.

Lots of stories up in the air still. Wonder how many, if any, will be resolved next week.

SG-1 and SGA have to wait for later.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I kinda want the "Cylon meeting" line to be a fake-out, and he really is a Cylon (not just because I want DS to come back again). I got the feeling that we'll likely get an introduction to another model next week, but that might just be spill-over from the above-mentioned wish.

Leaving some of the people on the planet, and some continuing makes sense, what with the having 2 Battlestars. It feels wrong to have 2.

I wanna know what happened with Sharon and Six, dammit! I hope that comes into play next week. I mean, they are on Caprica and all.

SG-1: Thank god they didn't make the baby Daniel's. I rather liked that they didn't name the elephant in the fatherless-pregnancy room. And, between Arthur and Anakin, they've got the broad sketches of possible futures. I still fear the magical baby, of course. This was also the first time when I really liked Vala.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Daniel had nothing to say about spending an hour as a pregnant woman?

Ficcer's dream, I guess.

I want to marry Claudia Black's hair. She looked great as usual, but her hair was otherworldly.

Did Shanks ask for time off, I wonder? t /meta

I haven't forgiven SGA for being morons yet. I'll miss Sheppard, but the Wraith can blow them all to hell (well, not Ronon, but he's slippery--he'll be okay).

DebetEsse - Mar 04, 2006 7:04:55 am PST #7534 of 10001
Woe to the fucking wicked.

Is there any reason why Daniel would have known? I'm not sure 1) that he was conscious 2) that he would have had any knowledge of Vala's body, without a mirror

ita, I had the same meta thought. It reminded me a bit of the Jack-less eps from a few seasons back.

Please wait til Zelenka is home on leave before blowing Atlantis to smithereens. Thanks ever so.
