Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Trust my rage

Hmm - I remember wondering how Caprica!Sharon (i.e. Preggers!Sharon) had (at least) some of Galactica!Sharon's memories....

This is interesting. I had been assuming that downloading formed "lines" (which would make Six and Sharon distinct, even if they had new bodies) but I guess that doesn't fit.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

i figured the baby might have been last weeks abortion baby?

But she had the abortion, and since they wanted to keep the baby on the qt, I'm guessing that her new mother is someone as anonymous as possible, not someone who was the center of a fleet-wide controversy only a few days before.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think that was referring to the dead baby they showed Sharon and Helo, not the new mother.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

For the second week in a row, TiVo cut off BSG early. Nooooooo!!!

I don't think aborted babies look like that.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

When they had the Cylon baby about to grow up with human parents, with neither the parents nor the child to know what she was - was anyone else reminded of Moses?

Speaking of which, when/how did Moses learn of his true parentage?

eta: Although Moses's adoptive Egyptian mom knew he was an Israelite....

The lady from last week looked a lot less pregnant than Boomer was, and would they have performed an abortion if the fetus had been that viable?

I do want to know where the kid came from--did Sharon end up touching it in her grief?

I think she just barely touched it before she was dragged away.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I wonder if it was the child of the woman who received Sharon and Helo's child? Perhaps her baby died, giving them the perfect opportunity to switch kids. I mean, she's going to have to explain to her friends where the kid came from. It would help a lot if she'd been pregnant prior to bringing home the baby. She seemed very grateful for the opportunity.
